Welcome to "Interactive Web Concepts " here you will find usefull information, tutorials and tips on developing PHP, Flash and MySQL database driven applications. After many years of business application development we have decided to help the new entrants into the interactive web building arena. Some of the tutorials are free and others we charge a small fee. We would do it all for free but we need to eat to.

I have written several tutorials to show how to create a MySQL Database and populate Flash Forms with DataGrids and other components from a MySQL database.

It then shows how to make a Flash form with containing datagrid and have the datagrid populated by the database using PHP scripts as the intermediary parser. If you go to the more Tutorials page you will find other Flash, PHP and MySQL tutorials like The second Tutorial also shows how to add records to the database and modify data using the Flash form with data from a DataGrid.

These tutorials are very comprehensive and show in detail from database creation through to a working application all done step by step. these are perfect for the newbie or for anyone how is having trouble populating flash forms and datagrids from databases.

Highly Recomended Book

I recomernd this book as a guide to using php and flash. It helped me in the early stages of getting my head around many issues and understanding the interaction of flash with php. Many of the components are discussed and examples of flash php interaction are given.

Drop down Lists and list boxes populated using PHP and MySQL were discussed in this book.

It is certainly a handy reference tool for people who want to come to grips with PHP,Flash and MySQL as a development platform.
